The Democratic Party is sponsoring the Neighbor to Neighbor program (N2N), part of Howard Dean’s 50 state strategy for the national party. The DNC has invested a lot of money to lend four organizers to the Democratic Party of Oregon, to help us recruit and train and motivate volunteers. They have been working for us since 2005, and now those four are asking us to help them.
If you sign up to be part of the Neighbor to Neighbor program, you will:
Pledge to be a Democratic Neighborhood Leader. "I want to help take our country back, so I pledge to have personal one-on-one conversations with 25 voters in MY neighborhood at least 3 times between now and Election Day 2008 (Nov. 2). I will also find 2 more Democrats to sign up as Neighborhood Leaders."
The Democratic Party will give you a list of 25 target Democrats to talk to, over the 6 months between now and Nov. 2
Howard Dean, chair of the DNC, is counting on us to do our part in getting voters to turn out in the 2008 elections. You can sign up on the web to be a Neighborhood Leader – copy this link and paste it in your browser address bar
